What We Believe

The Bible

The Bible is God's word to all people. It was written by people under the inspiration of God's Holy Spirit.  Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth, without error, and is relevant and applicable to our daily lives. Deuteronomy 4:1-2; Matthew 22:29; Hebrews 1:1-2; 2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:21

Trinity

There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Although each member of the Trinity serves different functions, they each possess equal power and authority. Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; Mark 1:9-11; John 5:21-23; John 14:10, 16;
I Corinthians 8:6; Hebrews 1:8-10

The Father

God is our Heavenly Father. He is all-love, all-good, all-powerful, all-knowing, Omni-present, and Holy. God is great. It is in Him we live, move, and exist. He is unchanging, faithful ,and compassionate to His people and His promises. Numbers 23:19;  Leviticus 11:44-45; 19:2; Malachi 3:6; John 3:16;John 14:1; Romans 3:3-4

The Son

Jesus Christ is fully man and fully God. He was born of a virgin mother by the power of the Holy Spirit as the son of God. His purpose is to restore us our back into a loving relationship with God. He defeated death in His resurrection so that we can have an abundant life. //Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-23; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 14:33; John 1:1, 14; Romans 1:3-4; 3:23-26; 8:1-3; Galatians 4:4-5; Philippians 2:5-11

The Holy Spirit

The presence of the Holy Spirits assures us of our relationship with Christ. He guides us into all truth and changes us daily to become like Christ. His presence guides, convicts, comforts, and equips the believer in Christ. Isaiah 61:1-3; Joel 2:28-32; John 15:26; 16:7-14; Acts 1:8; Romans 8:9-11; Ephesians 1:13-14

Eternity

Mankind was created to exist forever; either forever separated from God by sin or forever united with God through the forgiveness of sins and believing in His son Jesus. To be separated from God is to spend eternity in Hell. To be forever united with God is to spend eternity with Him in Heaven. John 3:16, 36; Romans 6:23; 1 John 2:25; Revelations 20:15

Mankind

Mankind is created in the image of God. He created mankind for relationship with Himself - to be His family, His offspring, spiritual children of God. God made mankind male and female and blessed them. Mankind was separated in relationship with God as a result of sinful disobedience. Genesis 1:26-27; Psalms 8: 3-6, 51:5; Acts 17:26-31; Romans 1:19-32; Colossians 1:21-22

Salvation

Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, by grace, offers as a free gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. John 3:16, 36; John 5:24; Acts 2:21, 4:12; Romans 1:16-18; 2 Corinthians 5:17-20; Revelation 3:20

The Church

The Church is a local community of kingdom minded believers unified through faith in Christ and love for one another.
