The Power of Solitude

The Power of Solitude -
PSALMS 63:1-2
1 O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for
You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.
* Solitude helps us overcome distractions. In life, a lot of things compete for our attention and these may include family, jobs, social events, relatives, emergencies, etc. From the time we wake up till bedtime we are busy and sometimes the busyness does not translate to results that are connected to our life goals
* Solitude offers an escape from these pressing matters so as to concentrate on important once
* Solitude affords the opportunity to de-clutter our lives and prioritize and put everything in its proper position.
* Through solitude, we can re-build our lives. Our lives are in constant need of improvement. Growth involves
changing but most times we are too busy to incorporate the necessary changes.
* Solitude can provide an excellent opportunity to reflect inwards and eliminate our negative habits, patterns and attitudes
